1) Sometimes my own website appears on the list of "traffic sources" for itself...For instance: mysite.com/referral is listed as a traffic source for mysite.com - how is this happening? 2) What does it mean when a visitor has 0 Pages/visit and 0:00 time? (how is that even possible, not to have 1 page view?) 3) Yet another traffic question, why are some visits listed as "search/organic"? Could analytics not tell what search engine they came from?
1. Are you redirecting to any of your pages? 2. I have never seen this happen between all my sites and visitors. 3. This is from 3rd party search engines that aren't popular, no one actually knows how many search engines are on the internet.
1. Have you not applied IP filter to exclude internal traffic from appearing in your reports ? for 2 & 3, i agree with ssandecki
Hey I am also getting same problem since 5 days...can you tell me since how long you getting this problem? i also make one post on this forum
1) Can happen when the Google Analytics code is not implemented properly on mysite.com/referral 3) Traffic may be coming from search.com. You should be able to see for sure by taking a look at your server logs.
