I want to start a website. so I want to buy a domain name, and hosting.
But I have never had a domain name and hosting. ( I only have this blog http://hackhowto.blogspot.com)

but could you guy's recommend me some great (cheap) domain names ( I mean where to buy it) and hosting.

    I thought of bluehost.com

but please tell me, every body on this forum has a website, so this will be really easy to tell me.

hmm, but how much does it cost. bluehost is something like 6$ and you will have unlimmited bandwich, space, and adon-domains.

    Does godaddy also have hosting?
can't wait to start a site

If you're just starting out, go for free webhosting like 110mb.com

But if you insist on professional web hosting, go the the Buy/Sell section on this forum. You'll find great deals starting 12$ a year. I myself use such hosting for 16$ a year, get 10 GB space on a superfast server, unlimited domains and subdomains. You can find someting similar on the Buy/Sell forum.

And for your first domail, go to www.domainlazy.com

You first .com domain would cost you only 5$. Thats the cheapest it can get...

    All the Best... :)

I use www[dot]orbitorhosting[dot]com for my domain name registration and hosting.
their website hosting starts at $5.99/mo. and domain name for $11.95/yr.
Also, they have good support and they setup my hosting account quickly.
So far so good...I highly reccommend them!

Well... on my account, for which I pay 16$ a month, I get 10 GB webspace and 100 GB bandwidth per month. That could basically mean hundreds of thousands of visitors on a large site of 1000s of pages.

What kind of website are you planning to make. Don't rush. Think about it. Do some research first. You can get great deals in the Buy/Sell section on this forum. Look for deals. You won't regret it...

    All the Best... :)

well, the site is going to be a membershipsite.
I mean like people can sign up, and Have an account on the site.
so when they go to my site they can sign in, to their profile.

    they can post articles.

I don't know how much bandwidht this will take.
that's why I'm asking for cheap place for hosting etc.

Try jaguarpc.net They have nice shared-hosting plan only for $100 per year. Use GoDaddy only for domain registration
