A dollar a day?? What am I doing wrong?

I am raking my mind on what I can do to make more money then this with adsense. I mean one of my sites gets atleast 20K impressions perday. the others are all in the mid to upper hundred's and the highest day i have ever had was 4.06. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone please tell me or give me some ideas as what to do to increase my revenue. BTW one of the sites is a forum. The others are blogs.

Usually forum or blog is not the best option. I believe the site which get 20k impressions is 41g.net. Note that visitors come to your site because they would like to hide their identity and the possibility they click on the ad is low.

 

Actually it is not the 41g.net site that gets the most impressions. It is another url.

 

Blogs are fine, forums not so good.
What are your topics? If they are not topics where people are "click happy" then you will have a low CTR.
Look at your placement. Can it be improved?

There are so many things to experiement with and look out for that instead of posting complaints you should be testing testing testing

 

I did it completely by accident, but when I was creating http://www.newhouseflip.com I deleted the actual menu bar that was in the portal while installing the addsense.. it seems to work pretty well.

 

Increase links on your URL to get more traffic . This will be increase impression on your site.

It really depends on the placement and the niche of the site. Try to read more adsense success stories here. Sooner or later you will soon have your $xxxx/month earnings.

 

That is what I thought. Niche sites. I think the forum is a pretty good niche site.

 

Testing, testing, testing: you should test adplacement, adcolors, whether to blend your ads or have them stand out - etc. (have a channel for each experiment).
