Here is a directory that charges for spam submissions http://thesearchbrain.co.uk/send_url.asp An interesting concept.
What they need is a good spam guard and no more worries. I doubt threatening those who spam them with an invoice will deter anything or result in any payments. Probably just result in them getting spammed more. Nice find though.
charge them how? send an email bill out? sounds like an empty threat that's not going to be read by the spammers anyway.
Its a silly message to place, as if any spammer is even going to read the message, care about anything like that or be detered. Ive seen better ideas, put it that way. I somehow cant see a spammer panicking themselves over that.
LOL ! shouldn't they start charging and refunding the payments instead ;-) Keep the payment from spammers.. Though paypal would hate it.
I doubt spammers will pay for it... very funny concept though... "Desperate Directory Owners hate spam submission..."
The system was put in place to stop the SEO companies who constantly fill in the forms, for the website design request, which is an optional part. The general spam gets deleted on route so isn't a problem. We don't have a problem with SEO companies in general just the persistant ones, who don't take no for an answer.
