I need a simple market with no payment option "Product listing", I just want it to show product picture and specs + phone + price + categories + sub categories and address of shop that's all. Is there any open source scripts, I am good enough to modify scripts but not to start over specially with the category thing .
If you aren't processing payments, just use WordPress. A CMS is just as good as a an ecommerce site for this, and wordpress is easier to manipulate.
Like Christian has said, use Wordpress (if you have cPanel, you should have fantastico deluxe installed which will make installing it just a couple of clicks), get yourself a nice theme for it (or design your own ) and also I would suggest this shopping cart plugin for it It's really quite a nice feature, and it will allow for you to choose whether or not you want to have the add to cart/buy it now button, so that you can just display products rather than allow people to buy them Jay
