Hi, I just registered those two sites (and a couple more), and I'd like to know if I am on the right track as far as domain names are concerned. One is: MYPRIVATEFANTASIES.COM for an adult site, and the other one is: RECOVERINGFROM.COM for a site with ebooks and articles about health I am not thinking I'm going to get rich with that. As I said, I'd just like to verify if I am on the right track. Thanks in advance.
IMO the 1st one sounds a bit too long. Besides that, it would be better to make it 'your' instead of 'my'. The second one sounds nice, if you develop it into something relevant and useful (and only commercial) Cheers.
Nothing without development. Most anything specific, and niche' driven that is not a general term, is a $40 MFA domain, unless you develop it into something nice. JMO
MYPRIVATEFANTASIES.COM - I like this one, definately brandable. I'd say Low $xx to $50 RECOVERINGFROM.COM - Reg fee
Thanks for the opinions. In both cases, I am thinking of developing. Now, would you say a short name with no special meaning is more valuable than a longer name that is dictionary based, or vice versa?
Not something with no special meaning. Preferably something 'meaningful' and creative! The value of a domain is really up to the person who buys it, or the one who creates it.
Thanks. I am asking because I am always surprised to see some domains names that do not have any meaning and people seem to say that they are valuable just because they are short.
