A confession to Google that turned out to be fine. Thank you Google!!!

Two weeks ago, I mailed to Google apologizing and requesting them to terminate my account or drain my earnings to zero because I've made invalid clicks and wished to be reinstated again. Just today, Google replied and said that they confirmed the invalid clicks and the account will remain open and If I wish to close my account I could do so and apply for another account. I'm so happy to read this and immediately thank Google for this. Thank you Google. To all forum members that think that Google is the devil better think twice. With the proper explanation and honesty, you cannot be banned for life in Adsense. Thank you again Google.

 

Let me get this straight. You made invalid clicks on purpose, confessed, and they are ok with that? Geeze.

Neither. lol. Why would I lie? What good will I get in this. I just post this so that people will have hope that If they explain themselves and be honest then maybe they could get back their account.

Seems rather unlikely to me, I must say. The part about keeping your old account or applying for/opening a new one seems especially unlikely.

No, they didnt say I could keep my old account, they said that It is still running and I may want to notify them if I want to close it.

lol, are you guys jeleous of him or something? I keep hearing evil stories about Google shutting people down, even if they're innocent(or so they say)... it's actually nice to hear a story of honesty leading to some good.

Anyway... stay out of your life of crime and work on your site to make some real money now.

 

But this isn't a story of honesty. It's a story of a confession of dishonesty. And according to the OP, Google just said, "Oh, that's OK. Be a good boy and don't do it again." That's the part that people are having difficulty swallowing.

 

Nice, at least you manage to keep your account...Try to read the TOS before even think about invalid clicks again!

I guess the bottomline is: not to be banned from adsense. I am very curious on how can somebody tell if the clicks are invalid besides the one you clicked yourself.

 

Hard to believe... hmmm... Perhaps the the invalid clicks should have never been made in the first place.
