I have to agree- it was very iraq-centric, though.

What is your solution, let terrorists threaten our country? When we get attacked like we did with the World Trade Centers if we just let that go it would make us look like push overs. Probably one of the if not the most advanced (military) countries in the world we gotta make sure people know what we are capable of every now and then and when we have attacks happening on our soil I think its appropriate to express that power.

Lets not get into 9-11 ok because I have debated that a million times. Actually its great the way we responded to 9-11 by attacking iraq.

Longhorn can you answer me why we went into iraq and what the heckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk did 9-11 have to do with iraq. There was never any alqueda there before we went in and there were no wmd's and a preemptive strike based on flimsy evidence of complicity is crazy at best.

and iran? Didnt we completely crush democracy in that country in 1953? by taking out the democratically elected president mossadegh who never threatened anyone and helped to install a dictator instead? No they didnt attack us did they.

Please tell me why we went into iraq. This answer should be a good one.
This propaganda works well with people that have their heads buried in the ground like an ostrich but people who know the region know this bs all to well.

Ron Paul said it best when he laid it all on the table at the republican debates. This guy is my hero forever.

Hey Longhorn, next time there is an attack on our soil lets go and invade another country that had nothing to do with it. Ill be right there waving my flag and pumping my fist in the air while another 300,000 innocent people die. Isnt that what happened in iraq? Its very disturbing that more people havent protested that lie of a war.

When 9-11 first happened I wanted us to go and kick some butt also as my parents lost a friend in one of those towers, but for the life of me why did 300,000 innocent iraqis die for that attack? and how come your not protesting the destruction of democracy in iran in 1953? Or maybe its not that big of a deal. Do you know how many people were tortured and killed because of this also?

That list of questions pretty much sums it up...America has been evil due to "National Interest"...but have done poorly of it. Bad America...Bad.

I still like the post and it really brings logic to our true foreign policies. Its a shame more people cant wake up and take off their rainbow colored glasses and see these things for what they truely are, but then again I bet the average roman citizen didnt know what was really going on either.

But we're the US, we don't have to make sense:rolleyes:

I think it's time we stop policing the world and start policing our own politicians/government.

Ron Paul couldnt have said it better my friend:)

I think we need to worry more about whats happening in mexico. To me that seems much more dangerous.

Yup. You know what pingpong, we disagree about a few things, but, overall I think we agree more than disagree with things from religion to what we think the government's job is.

Mexico is much more of a national security threat right now. What with open war with the cartels going on just below the border and whatnot.

But don't let anyone know we support him, we'll be labeled as militants!!!

I seem to recall an oath I took, it said something abotu protect and defend the contsitution of america, against all enemy's foreign and domestic.

And I have done that by sending Ron a little bit of my income.
