I've been noticing that alot of results now have longer titles isntead of titles that have 100% keyword prominence.

Anyone else noticing this and has it effected anyones results?

Just google a word like "Advice" All the titles displayed are not 100% keyword dominant in the title. Thats a horrible example though I've noticed it with more keywords like Sorry for the language: I was targetting a niche "I am A Motherfucker, google that and you will see that the titles are extremely long.

When I was targetting it I just put the title, keywords, and <h1> all to "I am a motherfucker" since I thought it would be easy to get to page 1... Even when I thought I would be relevent to the search results, Im not.

As far as I know (maybe it's not true) Google is modifying it's algorithms and they will implement some changes soon.

Now they are still testing the new algorithms and they also created an alternative search for their programmers to use.
For example, if you search the term 'car' you will get your standard results, but if you search for '~car' you will get some other results.
You can try this with any keyword...just search '~keyword'

I heard (again, not confirmed) that the ~search will become standard search after they fix all the bugs and stuff.

Does anybody have some more info about this?

I am sure there has been some major work going on within google since last one month. The searches have changed its working, pages are not getting indexed soon. Maybe google is going to announce some major changes.
