A car for 10-12 k ?

    What car can i buy for about 10 000-12 000 $ in the USA.I am coming to learn at an US college and i need a car .My father told me he could buy me one within this price ?As far as i am concerned ,the cars are less expensive in the USA .Can i get an Audi TT for about 12 k ?I will learn at Dartmouth .

    You can get a Nissan Altima, the 2005 model.

    I got one, for $12000, with only 75000 KM.

    You can get a 2001 - 2003 model Audi TT for that price.

    I went with an 07 Caliber. Got it with like 30k miles on it , in great condition within that price range.
    Yeah, its an american car so in terms of quality it wont come NEAR a BMW or Audi (Or, well, any European engineered car), but you can get a fairly new one for a bundle less than you could get a BMW / Audi of the same year.

    12k? A the cheapest new BMW costs $30,000. But 12k would be a great down payment

    Your best bet is to get a maxima. Forget the TT unless your dad gives you money for fixing it every so often.
