    Hello everyone,

    I have a rather interesting question regarding a canonical tag pointing to a paginated page. Basically, the following page http://www.centralfloralsupplies.com/store/department/12/Ribbon-And-Pullbows/ is the department we have added the rel=pagination tags to, so no problems there.

    Within this category, there are several brand 'filter pages' on the left that you can 'tick', such as Christmas Ribbon, Curling Ribbon etc.....etc
    Here is the Advance page;
    http://www.centralfloralsupplies.com/store/filtered/d_12/, fyi.

    My questions basically is, can I put a a rel canonical tag on the filter page (e.g. http://www.centralfloralsupplies.com/store/filtered/d_12/) pointing to http://www.centralfloralsupplies.com/store/department/12/Ribbon-And-Pullbows/

    Is this allowed?

    Given that Google would now be seeing the paginated series as one page, I'm thinking it is possible.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    Stephen.
