    We have a real problem here in FL with black bears. They often show up at your house looking for food (usually going through your garbage cans). Somehow they are not all that friendly and tend to attack people or pets the moment they feel threatened. If I am not mistaken, it is now allowed here in FL to hunt black bears to keep their population down.
