Happy Holidays to everyone in DP Land! :) I figured I would give everyone here a late Christmas Present, a new search engine friendly link directory with instant activation. I noticed that there haven't been a lot of new directories created lately so I figured that I would create one to help us all out ;) The site link is:

    http://www.alinkdirectory.com/

This site is brand new and just released this morning, so I expect high PR on the next google update once I begin promoting this new directory everywhere. Have a good one!

NOBODY will pay for being listed at an empty PR0 directory that is not yet listed in any search engine. I fully doubt so!!

Hello, my other very successful directories that started out with PR0 since they were brand new and now receive a lot of traffic and a PR of 4 and I expect that PR to increase even more have new signups on a daily basis. I spend hours per day submitting and paying for premium listings on hundreds of directories. You are new here so you do not know how hard I and many others here work to promote their directories. I can only assume that you missed the part of this topic where I said that I just created and released this site this morning. Thanks and nice to meet you!

Thanks daredashi, that is my goal I actually have fun searching for new directories to submit to so that my directories can gain a high PR so you can expect it to have PR that will transfer to your sites as well. Thanks and good luck!

lol i understand your reaction, anyhow you need to prove your future popularity first before trying to promote in a forum like this !? it's so simple to be cheated this way unless any prediction tool shows at least an increase in backlinks!! i mean, submitting to a directory with no other content is not worth the $7 unless it reaches PR4!! Apart from the apparent decrease of popularity and importance of directories...

anyway i didn't want to attack you in any way. If I did, I'm sorry for that

Hmm, I see your site has a PR of 0 and all of my sites gain PR when Google updates, and I am here everyday and I talk to a lot of friends here. I also already had 3 people subscribe to this directory since your last post since quite a few people know and trust the service that I provide. I must be doing something right, you may want to focus on your own site's PR and trust since all I see on your pages are zeros everywhere :) Thanks!

i have to agree with that i am having the same problems trying to sell webpages cos my site only has pr0 but i say now that PR is going well out of the window, the aim i would say now is getting links on related websites or pages that have related content thats why i sell pages that get written by the customor

the only think i look at PR for is to see if the site is new or if the sites webmaster even tryes with the website also i look at other things, i also really cant see why a text link shoulc cost more these days on a high PR website to a low PR the reson why you should ad text links to a site is

    related sites
    high traffic

Not PR were the heck will that get you i meen do google even use that anymore and will google always be at the top i really dont think so people could do with reading SEO subjects more to see really whats happening with the SE these days :)

Nice site by the way op :)

We also have to consider the possiblity of an aging delay in Google. Even if your site does reach PR4, chances are that the links won't be as strong as a PR4 site that has been around for a couple of years.

Your part about the late Christmas Present was a bit much, since we have to pay for our own present. It would be in better taste if you specified that your 2 hour old directory was a "paid directory" so that those that chose not to waste their time didn't have to.
