Hi to all, this is my first post at digitalpoint, please forgive my typoos (if any occur ) I happened to register a blog with journalspace.com which by chance had been in use by someone (as I figured out). It contains the word "sex" in the name (that is, "sex*.journalspace.com") and MSN says there are over 8k backlinks provided to it. Initially I was planning to post my sex stories and adventures there, 'cause I'm young (just 26). But it looks like I can make some $$$ if the blog happens to get into search engines and bring some traffic. Soooo.... the question is: what would you do with the blog? Any affiliate program? PPC network like AdSense? I was considering the latter, but Google does not display adult ads, and sure I don't want my visitors greeted by PSA's. Any ideas and arguments, especially based on personal experience with adnetworks and affiliate programs, will be highly appreciated!
No idea unless I knew exactly what you are talking about. Would need the URL to give any type of idea.
I'd go affiliate programs all the way, depends really what Journalspace's TOS are like for you displaying adult stuff. To be safe go for something like Passion.com or AFF (Same Company only AFF stuff is a little more explicit). Up to $30 per sale or Percentage payments make Adsense revenue look like pocketchange.
if you're interested in promoting online music store plz consider mp3sale affiliate program (webmasters.mp3sale.ru). .com mirror at mp3million.com Program is pretty fresh - we pay 40% of the deposits. Feel free to ask if you have any questions

Thank you all so very much for your precious input. To tell the truth, I was a bit afraid of not getting any response at all, so I am pleasantly mistaken The worst part of it is that I've posted the same questiuon on several forums running in my native language, with no response so far. It must be very frustrating not to know English at all. Now to the gist. I will send personal messages to aaron_nimocks and RxWiz. I checked the blog's stats at journalspace, and as I see about 200 visitors get there daily, despite the missing content (I posted just some words there). Unfortunately, the full stats are available for PRO users only, so I'll have to consider upgrade. I will do some research in msn in google regarding what other adult blogs on journalspace are runnung, and how they're organized. Thanks again to everyone who's replied.
Find out how far journalspace.com will let you go with a sex related blog on their domain. Your already getting 200 people per day? You can definatly make some money. Adult dating sites like Adult Friend Finder would do well. The Viagra thingy would be worth trying. Some full on pay porn sites may work for you too. If your willing to promote them, and/or Journalspace.com will let you. You could go in the direction of badgirlsblog.com but without having your own domain you may not be able to join in traffic exchanges with such sites. PPC ads from adbrite.com or etology.com may work well on your blog too. Google will not let you place adsense ads if your content is adult.
