A Billion Dollar Question for Google, Yahoo and MSN

    This blog has an interesting proposal:

    If Yahoo or MSN declares that they wont keep records of any search data, they may get a billion dollar away from Google ...

    I think Yahoo or MSN should do it ...

    Nice linkbait -- Yet it's not happening.

    There really is no issue so long as they don't go releasing stuff...Only google has stood up against it, and therefore I feel safer with them, then anyone else.

    You forgot that all the other search engines/portals just bent over backwards when the DoJ wanted search records. Google was the only one to fight it.

    If searchengines keep no data about each user, you can forget search results according to your searches etc.

    For me it is just the same if they release, since i have nothing to hide.
    I am an EU citizen, so don't think it applies to EU citizens
