A big problem with the google bar

    In IE6 I try to enter an url in the address field, but when I press enter I comes to a google page for the search of that URL :(

    I think that happens only when you enter a non-existent url.
    It goes to google search instead of the default autosearch.msn.com

    To be more precise, there's an error in the domain you're entering in that it isn't resolving.

    An error on a subpage from a domain will usually lead to a 404 error, or something similar.

    So check your domain. Also check to see if the www. and non-www. versions of the domain point to the same site (some sites don't).

    Other common errors:

    - using a comma instead of a period as in www,domain.com

    - missing the period as in wwwdomain.com

    - typing www twice as in www.www.domain.com
