    Howdy All,

I just wanted to let you know that I have tried out a new BANS like service (IncomeStores) that combines products from Amazon, Ebay and any other CJ affiliate. They are currently in beta, but they plan on coming out in a couple of weeks. Here is how easy it is:

    Steps:
    1) Sign-up
    2) Enter your Amazon ID and CJ PID
    3) Pick your domain name
    4) Configure your Niche Store
    - Unlimited categories
    - RSS content integration
    - Product spotlights
    - What's hot
    - Product reviews (supplied)
    6) Promote your Niche Store using our tools
    - Auto blog posting to Blogger.com
    - Built-in affiliate program
    - Link-building
    - Article submission
    - Widget distribution platform
    7) Collect $$ from Amazon, CJ and Google directly
    8) No technical skills required!

If you would like to check out my store you can see it here.

Right now they have 1/2 price registration, but this will only last while they are in beta. You also get to keep 100% of all commissions :D

    Regards,
    nscdn

Looks nice but to run 500 stores would cost nearly $45,000/year...
    Can the template be customized?

You are definitely right that this would probably not be suitable for some of the big BANS players out there, but more for the people who wants to run a few or try out a niche. There are discounts for multiple store...

Right now the template is not customizable (just the colors), but this might be a future enhancement.

Eh, BANS is better. BANS will always be better as long as they keep updating their software according to customer demand.

These "new BANS" threads are really nothing but indirect advertisements in my opinion. I mean, why else would you have a referral link in your signature to the very website you're endorsing here?

No technical skills required? Come on. Anybody will say anything for a little cash...

    Thanks for your input.

Advertising? Never! Not here at DP...

Why wouldn't I have an affiliate link in my sig?

"Anybody will say anything for a little cash"... Yourself included

Well I also happen to actually like this service. The guys running this are listening to their clients and have some great ideas for enhancing the service. Does BANS allow feeds from all CJ affiliates and Amazon as well? This is one of those "better" reasons...

Define "better". It isn't bad, but it is horribly written as I mentioned here.

What was also amusing was they said they had 8 weeks of testing with 25 users for version 3. Yet right after the general release they found out that links weren't tracking. Huh? How does 20+ people over 8 weeks not find this kind of fundamental error?

LOL, yeah these guys need to rework their business model if they want to really make a dent here. It sounds like a great idea, but they'll need to offer some unlimited domain plans or something if they want to really make a dent in the BANS market.

I'd be pretty upset if any of my sites took as long as 3 weeks to start getting traffic from Google, but I don't see what that has to with BANS or the service you're talking about.

It looks promising, if only it wasn't so expensive. How easy is it to modify the template?

The only person making money here looks like incomestores. That is way too expensive. You'd be better off getting a $20/month account at dreamhost and buying BANS. Then you can have unlimited stores...

Having an annual fee is a very bad business decision on their part. It's too bad, because it looks like this could have potential. I'd rather buy BANS and make as many stores as I want a one time fee. Yes, I'm sure you can break even after a certain amount of time, but still....

Ditto the statement above. Annual fee for such a site is bad.
