Over the next couple weeks I will be putting together an A/B testing suite for my own purposes, and I am curious to know how many other people might be interested in a product like this. If there is enough demand, I will pretty it up and write some excellent documentation for it, and possibly give some free copies out to users here on DP. If you are interested, how would you use something like this? Also, what type of features would you be interested in?
A/B testing, also called A/B Split testing is simply showing two different pages to two different users. So let's say you want to test a new headline on a sales letter to see which one brings in more sales, you have an A/B testing script, and tell it you want 5% of your users to see the new headline, while still making normal sales with the normal page. It lets you test specific parts of your pages to see which convert better by showing different pages to different people.
A/B testing is inefficient and outdated. Taguchi testing is where it's at. Make a tool to do that, and people will pay for it. Otherwise they can just use to free Google split testing tools.
