I posted my Football Forum here a month or so ago, asking for reviews and advice on how to improve it. I received some excellent advice, and did act on some of it. Since then, I have seriously improved my traffic figures, and membership is slowly rising (123 today, with about 6/7 new ones each day for the past week or so). I have also worked hard on my keywords, etc, to improve my rankings. My forum (www.footie-forum.co.uk) now ranks as follows, for example: #5 for 'Football Chat Forum' #18 for 'Football Forum' I also come highly for some specific searches too (eg 'WAGS pics'). I added a decent logo, as someone said to do. I have stuck up a competition with a £100 prize, which is definitely generating a load of interest. I am now at the stage where I am unsure how to continue - what else do I need to do now, to ensure that the traffic continues, and the membership continues to increase. I dunno if any of you have ever joined a sports-related forum, but a high percentage of the members do not actually post anything, or very little, so adding members is my biggest priority now.
