A 19-year old MySpace member committed suicide on a live selfl-broadcast

Hi everyone,

In case you haven't heard about it, a 19-year old MySpace member recently committed suicide in front of his audience during a live self-broadcast on a forum.

That's horrible. I hate it when these stories about how kids kill themselves after being bullied online...

 

I heard about this a few hours ago. Apparently there's a video going around of the police coming in.

 

I am sorry to hear that .
Are there any psychic problems with the victim ?

Read about this earlier today. Extremely sad. I don't think he was being bullied... he apparently invited people to come watch the video and they just egged him on... but it was all sparked through his own words and ended with action.

Well it's very stupid to do that... not only for the person itself, but mostly for the people around them... It's an egocentric thing...
You only think about yourself when you do that...
Some people say: "Well, I understand it" ... Well, I know some people fighting against sickness to live...

So making an end by suicide is totally stupid

Still it's bad to hear about the kid.. he had a full life to go still...

I hate to read stories like that but things like this happen all of the time time, so it is not new.

Sorry for the lack of sympathy, but i read, hear and see this sort of thing every day.

Things are getting out of hands sometimes. It’s horrible to know something happened like that.

Apparently, the news says that the people watching did not took it seriously so the police came in late.

The original forum thread was deleted together with the series of posts.

Thanks for your eagerness to help. The victim made a long suicide note as his last forum post.

I really hope he will be the last one.

 

This is really sad.. I heard the news yesterday.. the boy said his father trusted him so much to the point that the father expected only great things from him (the boy).. He said he couldn't bear it when he let his father down.. the only thing he could do is to end the shame by commiting suicide.. what a sad story.. Rest in peace poor boy!
