    I need your opinion guys......

    I found somebody online who can submit my site to 800 directories....

    He is on a Freelancer site, and has 38 positive reviews for people he has worked for.

    Here are his details.

    I have aprox 800 directories list with google PR as follow.
    PR8 --> 4 directories
    PR7 --> 6-8 directories
    PR6 --> 20-25 directories
    PR5 --> 60-65 directories
    PR4 --> 240-250 directories
    PR3 --> 290-300 directories
    PR2 --> 130-140 directories
    PR1 --> 30-40 directories
    PR0 --> 130 aprox.

    What do you people think of this service ? ?

    He can submit to all of them in about 2 weeks...and in some castes, some of the directories reject submission,

    What do you people think of this service, get your site listed by that guy doing the donkey work of submission, in 2 weeks.

    The cost is about $15 for 100 directories...

    I know submitting to loads of directories can show up as a red flag to search engines, but the directories wont all accept them on the same day.

    What do you guys think for my to go ahead and use him?

    What are the disadvantages, from SEO point of view??

    Give your opinons on this..... Thanks

    I dont trust directory submissions....plus the PR is of the homepage not the page your link is going to be on

    I would just suggest spending your time and submitting to the Directories yourself. Spend the time and save the money :)

    IMPORTANT !
    Oh i forgot to say, the majority of the 800 directories will accept the links in about 4 months time. Not in 2 weeks. 2 weeks is the time he will complete the task in.

    so link acceptance will happen in about 4 months, for the site..

    I agree. Homepage PR is not where you site will be. Even on a PR8 directory, you'll land on a PR0...

    Building backlinks. For PR build, you need higher PR than your site...

    Many of those directories are irrelevant to your site content so "may" end up hurting you.

    You could try it, it shouldn't hurt anything since like you said, many of the submissions will be either deleted or take a long time to get approved. I personally feel that unless the directory is of very high quality the links won't matter much.

    will he submit your site manual or automatic?

    if it's a manual submission, it looks a good offer
