__Which Adsense Position gives greatest Clickthrough rate, out of.....

    Out of these Two, (Please speak from experience please) Which adsense position tends to provide a Greater clickthrough % by visitors on the webpage

    (Assuming that the content is Identical on each case/layout)

    Page Layout 1? (Skyscraper (120x600) on the left of my content)

    or

    Page layout 2? (Banner (468 x 60) spaced through out the content)


    I know both must be effective, but which has give the GREATER clickthrough rate from Visitors?

    In other words, Which page layouts from the two wil earn me the most adsense money (if the content is Identical on each case)

    PLEASE SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE !

    The 2nd layout would probably receive more click throughs if blended well.

    I haven't tried those exact layouts, but both have benefits. 1st one is on the left so if you make it blend in as navigation, you'll get decent clicks.

    2nd one, if you have for example an article & it blends in well, you will get decent clicks as well.

    Why not try to do a combination of the 2?

    here's my preference: 1 left side 160x600, 1 368x260 placed on top of all pages, 1 368x260 placed in middle of content pages.

    According to my experience, not layout 1, not layout 2.
    But adsense is at the right placement, similar to layout 1.

    one 336x280 at the bottom of content.
