I am thinking of using somebody of Elance or GetAFreelancer to do some Link building for me.

They will basically find websites that will point links to my website.
a)Is this a good idea? Some of them can submit to 400 directories/websites in our niches, and they don't charge much for the submission.(cheap labour abroad etc)

b)what would i do about the ANCHOR TEXT which will be on the link to my website ?

    For example
If my website is on Vegetables, eg- Tomato niche,

so, should my anchor text be Tomatoes? or a more specific keyword, (eg tomato juice)

c)or should i just look at my website/niche and pick a good, popular keyword phrase ?

d)Can i use a Variety of keyword Phrases, (like 6-10 keyword phrases) for all the 400 sites, or just stick to ONE MAIN ONE?

    ^^ Please answer a) b) c) d)

Any other Advice,? Please share Thanks....

Yeah I think its a good idea to outsource your submission works to abroad, because it can save ur money,.

    a) Maximum Link Building is better. There is no limit but I advice u to slow down the building because if google finds huge backlinks fast, they might ban you.

    b) Just go for a keyword optimizer. And know which of your keywords are searched more and which is easy to attain.

I invite others also to comment on this topic

Before going to freelance or Elance why can't you try in DP trade section !

I agree with priyakochin... Build links not very fast buy slowly 'coz the google detects those websites that build links fast. and for your keywords limit your keywords don't put many keywords that is not that important... target your keywords...

Many of the link building programs being sold today are short term results. If you receive 1000 links everyone thinks this is good. But the question should be, will they still be there in 6 months, 1 year, 2 years... With these programs, the answer will be no.

Therefore the path you are heading down will just cost you money and the results will not be very good.

Second, if Google see that you have increased your back links by ~ 50 per month for a small site, they will look closely at what you are doing, and more importantly, how relevant the links are. If they see SPAM which this will be, then you will get penalized (lower PR)

As for the ANCHOR TEXT question, always use the same string that has been SEO tuned for the page you are targeting. (i.e. Anchor Text string = Web Page Title)

    c) Pick the one that is most popular and specific. Check which one ranks the best and gets most hits by using the Overture Keyword Tool and then see your competition.

    d) I would use max 2-3 variety, it would be difficult to rank 6-8 for high paying keywords such as food, deserts, etc.
