Does anybody have this kinda of site, a Content Rich site containing 5000-7000 'Content' pages -eg, all containing keyword rich articles, Lets assume you have Optimized the tags (H1, keyword, title etc) Per page really well, for the Seach engines... With this kinda of Traffic method, for Se's How long will it take before you start getting a GOOD amount of regular traffic, once you have the 5000-7000 pages uploaded? How many months? weeks? - (Even if approximatly, because I know this will vary) but roughly how many? Has anybody done this method? How quickly did you get results, and how long did it take before you started seeing MAD traffic to these pages, or to this site of yours ? N.B. Articles are new + I won't upload all 5000 pages at once, but gradually - How many should i upload do a day?
your traffic is going to depend on a lot of factors.....quality of content....competition....and the quality of sites linking to yours..... I would upload a few hundred everyday...they won' get all get indexed until you get some strong links anyway.
Are the pages copies of other website pages? Like copied content? Or did you write thousands of pages?
If all the content or atleast 80-90% of the content is Unique then you can think of getting traffic from Google if it is Copied of Duplicate content then forget about even getting in top 10 Pages
i got one site with 20000 unique content pages and its been a month.i got many searches in google and yahoo. But no income yet.Its an article directory so all with come and read just skip the site. But the same site if you have like a particular niche say auto parts then you will get income and also many visitors. So concentrate on niches. Thanks
It's pretty hard to get 5000 pages indexed and rating well unless the content is good enough that people want to link to it anyway, or you spend a lot of time (and money) on acquiring deeplinks. The other question is whether the site is new - if so you might spend a few months in the sandbox - or a small but established site about to get bigger. I think you only need to load 50 or less a day - even that will probably be faster than they get indexed. My 1000 page content site took a year to get to that size, and a little bit longer to start getting significant levels of visitors, but it was a new site and I didn't realise how important deeplinks were at first. And it still has some pages, although not many, in supplemental.
My article directory has taken 3 months to grow to 8,000 pages, and I decline more than half the articles I receive. The Google crawler indexes hundreds of pages every day and so far has added about 1,200 to the primary index. Yes, it does take time to get everything indexed and eventually gain reasonable levels of traffic. Article marketing, recip links, social bookmarks, and blog/forum posts will all help.
It does not matter if you have more than thousands of pages, as long as each of the pages may bring a large amount of traffic by its content, design, and other traffic factors
I have a new blog with 4500 pages. Not for SEO purposes, but because I need them . Never really thought about the SEO aspect of it really. That kind of comes after the content to be honest. It's also translated, so that helps with traffic. I think if it fits, then go for it, but just cramming articles in there just for the indexed pages, and the keywords, may backfire, and it certainly won't do anything for your readers.
i have a 1.5 year old site that today has about 5,500 pages and gets just over 10,000 uniques per day. i started getting traffic (and good earnings) after about 4 months, when the site only have a few hundred pages. i think how much traffic you get and how well you rank will depend on many things - for me it was all the creative marketing methods (aka site-whoring) that I did that got me good traffic and earnings after a few months..
It seems like more and more content is finding its way into the Google supplemental search results. Unless the content is completely unique. So that is another vote for quality over quantity.
