Many people have Content sites, containing hundreds/thousands of Niche based articles.

with ADSENSE all over them, to earn them good adsense earnings.

They get the articles made from Elance for $4 - $6.

If I was to do this, produce a 1000 page(keyword)article site, that would be 1000 articles (and put adsense across them)

1000 x $4 = $4000. Then I will have to upload them on to the websites (which I can do)

I am just asking, This is ALOT of money to produce 1000 articles (which I am willing to do) as it will produce good Search engine results in months to come...... so adesnese clicks will occur, and hopefully adsense income can slowly be generated,

and I will optimise each page, per keyword, title tags, H1 tags, keyword tags, etc.

So it is $4000, alot of money, but it should generate good adsense earnings for the future, as the Search engines get my pages, and visitors land on them.

I can spend $4000 for this, but

    a) Is this a Big risk?

    b) Has anybody done this? and are now doing well, from the adsense earnings?

c)Any other tips/advice? (I will do everything slowly)

With 4000 bucks you can get a good ready made website with ready content and some back links.

If you are going to invest that much in content, don't forget to invest as much in link building, like buying links, article submissions, directory submissions ( only authority directory)..... You may start with a hundred pages and added one page each day. Build your links at the same time
... ALl the best. and be sincere.. the money does roll in someday or the other.. never give up.

For me it sounds stupid to invest 4k in "articles"

You need to consider two targets: humans and spiders. Both prefer quality versus quantity. I have clients who have great SEO success with as little as 10-page websites. When you get quality information on the Web, people will link to you (naturally, at no cost) and the traffic will grow steadily. Build a solid foundation and think long-term. Otherwise you may be throwing your hard-earned cash away.

So you want to fill a website with useless articles and stick adsense on it? I'm pretty sure Google won't want to rank it very highly.

If you really want to create something like this forget about paying for the articles (for $4 the writer will be cut and pasting anyway) and just scrape content from somewhere else and change some words.

Good point! You can't expect anyone to research and devise useful articles in just a few minutes. You get what you pay for. Put garbage out there and that's what you'll likely get in return.

$4 an article may get you content, but its not going to get you content that people will actually read. You will find your click through rate will be awful with bad content. Instead of creating a site of content that has no purpose, focus on a purpose and surround the site with good content. Not $4 articles.

For example a gardening site that sales gardening items, has a gardening forum, has great garden articles, and contains gardening images is a site with a purpose... A site with garden $4 info is just a waste. Yes you will make some money of adsense but not nearly as much as a site with a good community that keeps visitors coming back with good content.
