    It means you will have to pay namecheap for the transfer which will ofcourse include a 1 year extension to the domain.

    It basically means that GKG won't charge anything for the transfer, but you will only be charged whatever is the default Namecheap fee of getting the transferred domain in your account from another registrar.

    Hmm just checked, Namecheap doesn't charge you anything, just an additional year of registration if you want to transfer a domain from another registrar.
