965 unique visitors and only 316 impressions?

How is this possible? Site is profileisland.com

Theoretically, your visitors may have javascript disabled.

 

Seems like an awful large percent, is there anyway to check that with awstats?
PS. Ive rechecked everything and my pub id is correct

 

I'm not sure, but you can track the percentage of your website's visitors that have javascript enabled with Google analytics.

 

I have that all the time and have emailed Google about it but the only answer is "Rest assured we don't screw you over.... must be in your logs where something is wrong..."

 

may be some of the hits are from SE robots

I've seen something like this before. Usually the site average 200-300 visitors with about 2,000 impressions. A one-off occurence had about 700 visitors with same impressions. I wasn't sure where the extra "visitors" come from. This was from statscounter.com though, I no longer have awstats due to server overload.
