96% of Americans Reject Ron Paul

In yet another national poll, Ron Paul got an embarrassing 4%. Will the last RP supporter, please turn out the lights...

Yep, all this religious fervor and yet RP can't get more than 4%. About the only thing left for RP supporters is to lick their wounds and claim that 96% of Americans are stupid, ignorant, blind sheeple.

What exactly aren't you guys getting when 96% of others don't agree with you? Wake up.

Just because only 4% of a poll support RP does not equal 96% do not agree with him

Talk about twisted math. Many do not even know of him, many like him but don't think he has a chance. But twist it how you want, I know you will ;)

    Ok, maybe I should say:

96% of Americans think RP sucks as a candidate and are voting for someone else....

    Is that better?

I am more than a bit worried by what these RP fanatics will do when their chosen savior finally and officially loses.

Will they all don Nike's and drink themselves to death with vodka and sedatives? Will they stick with poisoned Kool-Aids? Will they all rent Ryder trucks and explode them next to government buildings? Will they join Al-Qaeda and try to destroy the U.S. from the outside?

As oddball as these options seem, they all seem more likely than the idea that these RP fanatics will grow up and realize that the entire history of the world isn't one big conspiracy.

We will keep the faith and unlike your generic candidate he wont be a slave to any special interest group. Its not very popular to love freedom and democracy and to follow the constitution but it doesnt mean we shouldnt try. Maybe your happy with lies, broken promises and candidates folling the american people, but im not.
So i say to you will spencer, any common joe on the streets can be a societal wannabee but it takes real guts to stand up for the truth, to stand up for freedom and to stand up for liberty.
Try it sometime, you might just like it;).

I'd like to see the poll methodology. Recent polls have shown Paul to have 40% name recognition, which if that is the case with this poll, then it isn't indicative of 96% rejection.

Irregardless, recent exit polls have shown that electability does not exactly measure support. The Michigan exit poll posted by EarlPearl showed that Paul was the 4th or better candidate as regarded by people voting for others.

Don't take that as a referendum on your popularity though. I can't speak for others, but I personally like you a lot. And I mean, A LOT.

4% supporting does not equate that 96% rejects him. This is not how you would interpret a poll

Nope, only a "true believer" will drink the Kool-Aide.

I retain my own mind and make all my own decisions. I will even admit that my candidate is not right on all of the issues.

    Well, I will, when I have a candidate. :)
