$95 for logo contest! 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes.

I need a logo for print and web for a new site / business Press Brake Safety (add dot com to see the website).

The winner will receive $60, 2nd place will get $25 and 3rd place will get $10.

The web logo should also include a version with the header image (attached) of the site so I can easily replace the existing header image, and the colors should match the theme.

The green web 2.0 starburst in the header image should be replaced with a metal type looking image / logo. Similar to the attached metalworking symbol image, or a metal sawblade type image, or whatever you come up with.

The print logo should be two - three colors, and also include a one color version. This will possibly be used on business cards, shirts, etc in the future.

Any type of image that helps convey press brakes or safety would be a great addition to the logo.

Most of the equipment featured on the site uses lasers to make sure you don't injure your hand in a press brake (while bending metal sheets). Other equipment is geared to safely operating general metalworking equipment.

Yes, I really need this logo.

The logo needs to have the words ”Press Brake Safety” stand out in large bold letters, without serifs, and using the colors from the website (blue, green and white, or an additional color you think looks good. I need the words Press Brake Safety to stand out.

The “metalworking” image was just an example, and it is from another site. (Do not include the “metalworking” text.) I need something similar to it, or completely different that looks cool, with a color that matches the theme of the website (blue, green, white and complementary color if you can find one – maybe shiny silver metal color). You can use an image along with the “Press Brake Safety” text for the logo , and use the same image to replace the web 2.0 green starburst, or a completely different image.

I’m just asking for:

1. Logo with 2-3 colors for use with white or colored background

2. Header with same logo and replace the green starburst with something cool

a. Extra $30 to the winner for replacing the green exclamation mark to match the logo

Not sure why this isn’t getting much attention as I’ve only received one PM, but I’ll up the prize to an extra $30 to the winner if you can create a little image that matches the logo to replace the “exclamation mark symbol” at the beginning of every page on the website.

Please let me know if my request isn’t clear. I’d like to end the contest by Monday and am still paying for 2nd and 3rd place.

ok, let me start with this simply one..

 

retzseo: I like the bold text, and the hand logo, but not sure about all red for the color. The text and logo need to be located higher up so that the tabs with links (Home, Quote, etc) don't run over them.
I kinda like the metal blade on the right, but it's a little too dark or something. If you could incorporate more colors from the website (green or the two-tone green) that would be great. Nice first effort.

Ariestoteles: Original as usual. I like the logo to the left. Not sure about the font, colors and uncapitalized "p" - it might just be a case of too much going on with the text - doesn't seem cohesive.

The image on the right top corner isn't working for me. You could just use the original green star but put the words "Advanced Manufacturing Solutions" in there if you can fit it, that's the name of the company. Or try a shiny metal blade, green metal blade, or red laser beams, etc. It needs to be sticking up over the blue header like retzseo has it.
