It was a check for 2 months because the first check they sent was so big it was rejected by his bank. And as far as having a website which makes $3.6 million a year or $200 million a year it doesnt matter as far as the amount is so big ya but i agree he can generate a lot lot more with that kind of traffic. All he needs to do is use different revenue streams.
Ya lots of them...Infact the forum at which you are posting right now is also making millions off adsense.
First the check is real they had a spot on Global TV here in Vancouver I think you can youtube it Anyways he ain't selling his site he was interested in that site though or so it appears from his personal blog also he makes around 10k a day on adsense but factor in the money he uses to advertise the site which must be alot, then he has to pay taxes on his earning and operating cost for the site that instant messenger he has most cost a lot and getting like 300 million with lots of pretty photos ain't cheap, anyways do the math. He still makes a killing but he does not keep the whole 900k J
Ah okay i remember from somewhere it was 3 months but your right. Thanks. http://channel9.msdn.com/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=300230 if he makes 900k every 2 months, thats 450k a month how could he run a site at 700k a month? Also check out this: http://channel9.msdn.com/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=300230 Its him talking about how it runs on 1 server, so if it does cost $700,000.. even for 2 months that is the worlds most expensive dedicated hosting??? Haha thats the secret. You dont see it, and you think it' something else and you click on it. Ta Da! BLENDING. - Prilep
If I got this much amount of cheque then I might have quit all the worldly affairs and just taking interest on the sum deposited in the bank . That would have been enough for lifetime. I think so which might not be possible .
He's a genius all right. While he is making pennies for his massive traffic the pay dating sites are making millions. If he was smart he'd parter, sell out, and cash in. Why pay Google? He needs to get ahold of a partner that can help him turn what he has into real money. The founder of Facebook is 23 years old, turned down a billion dollar offer last year then turned a 1.6% stake from Microsoft into 240 million. Yeah it's a big check.
