Yes the blog is new and is generating traffic fast. But here's the skinny on how I generate traffic. I use a specific auto blog setup, and lots of long tail keywords that I research. I use cron jobs to post on a regular basis. The regular posting causes the bots to regularly come to the site. The site gets massively indexed in the search engines for tens or hundreds of keywords. Over time the site will rank for lots of long tail keywords. Because of this ranking for all of the long tail keywords traffic will start coming in from everywhere all over the web.

If you hold on to the site it will eventually start to make income from all of the traffic coming to the site.

My mastermind group and I have developed lots of sites this way and those sites are sold once the earnings mature. At that point we sell either on Flippa or to our private list of buyers.

Developing sites with traffic and earnings takes time. Usually traffic comes first, and then earnings.

In the case of sites about blogging you will generally get lots of traffic just because of the niche.

Even at 1 cent per click selling a site for $247 with no earnings is ridiculous. Using PPV and selling per 1000 impressions would be also unlikely, because of the amount of traffic the site is getting.

 

Hey do you have traffic stats that show its gotten 9,000 uniques? And I don't mean something simple like awstats, I mean google analytics.
