@mitcharr That is better, good job. Pay attention to any tips I might give out to other designers. Like it. @Dakouten Very nice, but the cut-in "t" was just an example. Like the style of the pick @ing_pacz You are doing a fine job with the pick there, but the font is too stylish and unreadable if the logo gets smaller, and it will for the web @fujimoto The gray design is good, no more changes nececery @jaghanivasan Try doing more with the pick and make the text less bold. @x2k The audio jack was good thinking, but it doesnt really fit into the design and the site. Maybe if it was illustrated, but thats just one of the possibilities. The colors are not exactly the ones Im looking for @MantisArt Good thinking, this is quite nice. Also pay attention to any tips I might give out to other designers. Like it. @crowquill Not exactly the style Im looking for the site, try to incorporate some of the tips im giving out @Sabosushimi Excelent. I like the picks shaded corners to give it a bent feel and the cut in guitar head is great. It gives out a proper message to "grasp the guitar knowlege". Try making a darker backgound like some of the other entries, do some stuff with the font and do more work on the hand so it doesnt stand out as much. Very nice indeed, a fine example of design that represents the site use @all Be sure to read all the tips I give to everyone, it may help you. Sabosushimi did a fine job there, try something along those lines
@jaghanivasan 1st one is good, the font is ok, but the pick needs more work. @all From now on I will provide feedback for the best designs, so the thread doesnt get flooded. If I dont comment for someone, sorry
@art_ This is very nice, although the colors and the font are bit off. @7gone This is a nice design, but the pick and guitar combined dont look very good together. The text could be more readable too. As for the best works I've seen so far, here are the top 3 and some comments about them: @sabosushimi This is a great, unique idea that sends a strong message. Its simply powerful. The downside is the text that needs more work and the pick should match it in size and yet stay recognizable when scaled. Please try it with darker colors and we will see how it goes. @mantisart This logo is simple and effective. Even though the main idea revolves around a guitar, the design is great. @mitcharr This is a very good, clean design although the pick could be more revised. Everything else is great. New submissions should look up to those designs, that is the style I want.
@Hecky Truly pro and good looking design. Try to add something to the pick to make it more unique and memorable, just like sabosushimi did. Check the post above yours. @all The design does not have to be Web 2.0 style, its just a suggestion.
Nope, I was just saying that you did a design in the style I liked and that they should focus on making something in that style as well. Anyway, many logos came after that and if you take a look, you will see that they dont really look like yours. Sorry if I said something that was misinterpreted
