90% Direct traffic, Is that harmful?

    Hello everyone,

    I have about 90% of my traffic as "Direct Traffic" ... I don't know where they come from ... etc.

    Can this be harmful to my adsense?

    CRT= 7%:10%

    Use Statcounter to track them, and you will know where they are from :) I don't think direct traffic is harmful to your site ;)

    yes you may get banned if the majority of your traffic not from SE

    Yes, it is not good for adsense. Direct traffic normally shall not have good CTR, if you CTR is too high with all the direct traffic, you might be in trouble

    point is direct traffic to adsesne might lead google to thing that the user asked for people to click the links
    definitly not bad for your website though :D

    There isn't any problem with direct traffic if nothing is wrong with your Adsense reports. Just keep your eye open for spammers! :D

    Build up more back links for more SE visits and get more referral so it looks more normal with forums and groups.

    This is a very good topic to discuss on, please share some more thoughts on how good or bad a direct traffic is so everybody can monitor this kind of problem. Any good inputs from reputable DP members?

    not saying wrong, just might be suspicious

    i sent them an emails regarding my website, there where alot of impressions from when i kept reloading the site, while building it-
    they never replied, but at least i sent the email letting them know and it's on record
    ya never know. google goes "closed" with ease.
