Congrats Jon I just wanted to say something to all of those people who have posted here saying that all making of this effort isn't necessary to get indexed fast etc. - you're absolutely right! There's a highl likelyhood that you'll get indexed exactly as fast if you only use one or two methods in the list - but the point here is that ALL of those methods provide additional value (backlinks, publicity) to your website, and since all of it is free (and takes only a couple of hours) there's no good excuse for not using them and gaining from it All the best! Bryan
i'll give you the easiest solution to get indexed in like a day guaranteed. Step 1. Buy xrumer step 2. blast your new site for 30mins step 3. wait
Thank you for another great article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a perfect way of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such information.
Um .. I've been in the business 15 years and only just tried Twitter 2 weeks ago .. already I've filed 4 DMCA reports with various isp's because of it .. Be ready for site scrapers and content theft .. ban the Tweetmeme bot outright .. it's rubbish .. Twitter is a Social Networking nightmare http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2009...rity-firms-to-block-spams-scams-from-twitter/ Social Networking is the black plague of the internet ..
if the domain has high backlinks then it will be index immediately in less than one hour!! (sometime even in five minutes)
There's quite a few SEO related blogs out there so if you take enough time to Google around you'll probably come up with quite a few useful articles. (but obviously you'll have to distinguish the useful ones from the load of rubbish getting published nowadays). Alternatively, you can look into getting some e-books or video courses - only ones that have plenty of positive reviews though.
This seems to be a pretty interesting piece of article and useful as well. I will suggest you to write a guide based on this. Another thing, You have not mentioned the requirement of forum posting or blog commenting in this post, so does not it have any importance in search engine optimization?
Cheers. If by writing a guide you mean releasing an e-book / a report then naah. It's not really something that I would like to sell for money as it's pretty much a general knowledge - what I've done is simply gathered it together and formed it into one compact article. I'm launching a lot of e-books nowadays but I publish only the type of reports that either have some massive value to them or contain something entirely unique. As for forum posting, I left it out from the original post indeed but made an addition (should be around 10 posts back) saying that this could be very useful as well Bryan
