Just thought I'd add one (pretty obvious) tip to my article:

Forum posting

Not going to talk about it in-depth but it's a great way of getting indexed fast and also helps you gain some very valuable backlinks. Forums such as DigitalPoint are crawled VERY often so a simple link in your signature will:

1) get you noticed by Google quickly

2) create a permanent backlink (unless you decide to change your signature link later)

3) drive targeted traffic to your site - perhaps the most important of the three.

But always remember to do some quality posting or otherwise your signature will hold almost no value

 

Great Tips! I didn't know about the google/alerts as-it-happens.. I'll use that instead of checking every few minutes.. lol

 

the whois style of submissions like the txt file you put together works wonders. I am still working on building a master list of anything that does auto completion profiles like those sites because they do work and add fast backlinks.

Thanks for the post... But my opinion is if you bookmark your newly added page with your target keywords in do follow bookmarking sites, am sure that you will start ranking by next day morning or before..

I think a backlink from site which is crawled by Google daily should be sufficient.

 

My lastest post always indexed after 3 minutes

 

Thanks for your nice sharing but I think 13 hours might have no different from 48 hours. So, I only build quality backlinks from high PR (above 6) sources.

I have just submitted www.lellojewellery.co.uk to webmaster tools and expect the pages to be indexed with about a week, based on past performance.

Having seen your list I have now worked through it and will post back with results. Your ideas are certainly worth a try!

Now I'm freaked out. The site is not yet displaying as indexed in Google Webmaster Tools, but is now listed on the first page in Google within 30 minutes of completing Bryanon's list and posting my initial message above.

Other factors may be at work here, but I'll certainly be trying this list again.

all that is mentioned at the top is true; but from my personal experience i found that when ever i write a post and tweet, digg and stumble about it, the pate takes close to 3 hours to gets indexed in google(yahoo is faster in indexing).
Try using Yahoo Buzz, it happens in minutes... I was amazed to see my new post getting indexed in google in a record time of 1 hour. Check it out...
