880 Followers in twitter, but no traffic

dont too much spam with links, your follower never open it
try to tweet the good words, and you must be do relationship with your followers
make ratio 10 good tweet : 1 link url

 

If you spam too much then they are going to block you..

Yes, if you stop acting like a bot and do more human comments then you will have more traffic for sure.

 

I heard somewhere that you need to give 9 personal insights/useful information for every 1 promotional tweet. IM is about people liking you, then trusting you, then doing business with you. Hashmarks help, but don't be overly promotional

 

Agree w/ others that you need to make sure it's the right kind of followers. In a competitive niche, you can get 200-300 "followers" quickly without effort -- mostly other people in your niche who are just building their followers and will never click through.
Even if they are the right kind of followers, 880 really isn't that many for traffic, at least in most niches. Keep working at it!

I think this is the best advice I've read. You must build relationship to your audience until then you can get their trust and the rest will follow.

 

Hi, I am still just a baby on Twitter, but I have done some testing, and this is what I found. Whenever I promoted products or websites too much, my followers went down. When I tweeted motivational and upbuilding things, my followers increased dramatically. Also, a IM friend of mine said he does not even use twitter anymore, because it was never profitable for him.
