    Edynas,

While that's true, my primary goal is to get the conversion rate up a bit higher by lowering the price. I run two other sites as well. One being an auction site and the other a straigt-up ecommerce store. I grossed $20k my first month on my ecommerce store, but notice I said GROSSED. By the time advertising, shipping, chargebacks:mad:, and other misc. charges had been factored in, I netted a a whopping $4k.

I did lower the price to $9.95/month and so far i've only had one complaint. However, I decided to go ahead and refund the $5 difference to the others since it is the Christian thing to do.

My target for my Christian dating site is to have 10k registered and paying users before the end of September. While this may sound like a lofty goal, I'm an extremely goal-oriented person so i'm going to kill myself trying to hit that target. I currently advertise all of my sites via AdWords, Craigslist Auto Posting, Fax Blaster, and Opt-in. As you can imagine, it's getting a bit pricey.

Due to the great potential I see in my dating site, I will be temporarily focusing solely on its' advertising and trying to get between 2k-3k visitors per day. I thought about doing a TV commercial via Spotrunner, but it's not yet within my budget.

If any of you are interested in helping me hit that goal in exchange for a generous 50% commission payout, let me know. Otherwise, i'll continue reading, dissecting, appreciating, and applying the advice and tips you continue to graciously offer.

Did you thought about runing it thru a cpa network like Azoogle, CJ, Linkshare or Maxbounty. I do not know what they charge to setup a campain but that way you would get a lot of exposure while keeping your costs in hand as you only pay for a paying customer. Make it a 100% of the first month to the affiate and i guess there will be a lot of people running with your offer

I thought about it, but the lowest affilliate program I found wanted $3k upfront. I believe it was Linkshare that I looked into.

PS I do not believe in "old school" marketing like ads in newspapres and tv and think you should reconsider that ad as I truelly believe a campain with cj and the likes will bring much more customers in and you can messure it while the marketing department of a ad agency talkes about branding and name recognision a internet marketeer will talk about true roi and split testing

This may not work for you, but how about setting up a booth at a University in your area (if they have some kind of show) - especially if you have a Christian University. Just a thought - usually a booth at campus events are pretty cheap and one person I know that sells Spring Break vacations does extremely well!

Interesting idea, I'll have to research it a bit more and find out if there are any Christian University's in my area or at least Christian groups at the universities in my area.

You could go on myspace go to the group area and join all the Christian groups and tell them about your site.

True, but I've stayed completely away from Myspace and I'm not sure i'd be very good at using it as a marketing tool.

Thats understandable. I would do it for you. ill work on myspace 3 hours a day 5 days a week for $1 an hour. that would be $15 a week.

or you could go to a few Christian Churches talk to the singles about your site.

I am so full with ideas. I have a mailing list of over 500. $3.50 and ill mail your site details and link to them all.

Just trying to help out. :)

Without seeing your site, I couldn't say whether it's suitable or not for our network, but please know that MaxBounty's upfront costs are typically $1000.
