So I look at my quick stats and it says yesterday there were 84 clicks. Maybe i am looking at it wrong I've only started doing this a couple of days ago, i didnt make any sales though. but is that a normal amount of clicks or is it a lot? thanks.
Yep, normal! But you might need to move on to the next one because it's not converting or maybe changing your strategies/contents. I have one campaign with 130 clicks and no sales, nothing, nada, zip! Wasted my time for nothing.
I would say yes and no. Depends on what your selling. Somethings are impulse buys (or leads) and you do it right away. I have links like this that get between 60-100 clicks per day and I do see conversions off the top of my head around 5% Other things are things you think about (cars, furniture, school) so depends on the return cookie, it might end up working out a few days down the line. I always like to test things over a time frame that mirrors your sites traffic. Give it some time if your just starting off and cut it shorter when you start getting major traffic. If you have a good site, consider it a long term investment where if you spend some time perfecting it early on, it will pay off later down the road.
Conversion Ratios are related to many factors that go far beyond clickthrough. One program may convert 1 in 50 and another 1 in 500. Your job is to track and test and calculate your own ROI based on what you time and effort are worth.
