Yes it may be true but there is high competition for those keywords. Mostly they are finance related keywords.

I dont think the CPC can go up to $84. If you say $20, then it might be possible

its problly possible but Google will keep those high paying advertisers only for their sponsored search ads on google.com and its also "one in a million".....the content match publishers wont get that much.

It happened to me last night! I was checking my adsense account earnings as usual when suddenly I spotted a new channel I didn't remember I created and there it was, 1 click (out of 69 ad impressions) and a total of $86, I couldn't believe my eyes!

I then proceeded to search for the adsense block with this new channel, I was about to find it when.. I woke up! :)

why would anyone want to pay $84 for a single click?

I have got $3 clicks 10-12 times in 4 years.

I did get $7 click once and that I guess was typing mistake by the person running the ad campaign...:D.

most Adwords advertisers who bid high, avoid high bids on content network.

the high bids are only for Google search results.

IMO, only a complete idiot would bid $84 on any keyword.

My highest click ever was a $2-click. And yes, I agree with the dude above... only an idiot would bid $84 on a keyword.

thats possible but its not the google who pay for it, its the advertiser who pays for it, maybe $80 for every click keyword.

I think its impossible that some body set their ad price 804/per click
it is too costly and google always set ads according to keywords not price
so its impossible forget about it

    :)

IMO $84 click is not possible. adsense is not fun.. if they start paying in this ratio how how can they survive?
