I have an order of 830$ and Customer doesnt know how to use computer. He is my regular customer. He has also given his CC info so that we can charge him. I have a business account. Can I charge his CC after creating a merchadise link of 830$ ? I KNOW my IP will be there but I know customer agrees for the product.
On one hand you say that he is your regular customer and on the other, you say he wants you to help him charge him since he has no knowledge of computer! How did you deal with him earlier? If the earlier business was done offline, why not strike this deal offline as well and save him from unnecessary troubles! Teaching can be done involving small amount and personal coaching....It is riskier to be doing it with actual transactions! Regards, RightMan
Last time he gave us his CC info and I was NOT using paypal that time. But this time I am using paypal. I tried to explain things to him over phone and it took me 42 mins to explain him how to visit gmail and open the site
It is froth with danger trying to access your customer account as well. It is better if you continue doing the business as you did earlier....just my opinion, though! Regards, RightMan
i would suggest.... if there is no communication or language problem.. then you can easily... send him the payment link and then over to phone.... you can talk him... how to open email... find message - click on the link - login to paypal and then pay... i dont think it would take more than 10min... even if he has never seen computer in his life time.... i hope this helps...
You should definately teach him how to do it. Try to talk to him over the phone, IM's or Skype/Ventrilo/TeamSpeak.
I'm almost positive this isn't kosher. You should only be doing manual entries if you have the proper setup (Which isn't part of the normal Paypal account). Believe it or not you can put your account at risk.
Don't do this coz PP will limit your account. Why don't you just phone the buyer and guide he step by step on how to make payment to you.
