Hello everyone. I am a Linux shop here and in the spirit of promoting Open Source software (as well as because PSD files do not import well) I am looking for a 800x200px header for a future build-your-own-computer site done in Gimp or Inkscape . Well, let's throw in XaraX for a good measure. Except for Xara (free version) you don't have to use Linux because Gimp and Inkscape exist in Windows flavors but a Linux-based artists will be greatly appreciated. Did I mention they are free to download and use? I am requiring particular software to be used because I'll need you to supply both your artwork AND the source files so I can make small adjustments myself. If you prefer no to share source files, please don't apply here. Just a couple of design requirements: I prefer the rest of the page to be white or light colored so so keep the color of the rest of the page in mind. Also, please take a look at the attached picture for the layout of the banner. I need some solid color or light almost solid background for the texts that will overlay the banner. PM me your quotes and past work references please. A good designer will get several more of those in near future. If you feel like posting your creation here, please feel free.
