Our company is launching a Warranty Subsidiary and we need a logo designed based off our existing logo as well as a product "seal" image incorporating the new logo or at least part of it. We will reward 250 dollars to the person who designs the best combination of logo and logo/seal. I will include examples of those images below. Additionally, if anyone contributed to the design of the logo/seal and/or improving upon it we will award them 150 dollars for helping out. I'd like to have something finished by next Wednesday at the latest, but of course the sooner the better. Here is the website url: http://www.gotwarranties.com where you can see the color scheme and the current logo. I like the "idea" of the logo, but I'm not so sure I like it in itself. I'd like to see it incorporated or variations of it along with the words Got Warranties somewhere. Additionally, we will pay an extra 400 dollars to the winner for creating additional seals to include variations such as TV, Camera, Laptop, Kindle, etc., as well as various numbers of years such as 1,2,3, or 4 year warranties. So you'd have one for 1 year laptop, 2 year laptop, 3, 4, etc., and then one for 1 year camera, 2 year camera, and so forth. As far as the seal, this will be on all of the product pages as well as showing up in Google, Amazon, etc. Here are a couple of examples of competitors' product seals: You can see this link to see a few more warranty images: search We will pick a winner and award the 400 dollars (if someone helped alter to improve the logo) on Wednesday the 14th sometime in the late afternoon or early evening. I will be available for feedback at various random times between now and then including this weekend. ALSO, if you don't like the logo we have and you think you can come up with something better, by all means give it a shot. And if you are REALLY good, we have about 1,000 dollars a week worth of design work over the course of a year on average that you will likely have first shot at. We've been around for 30 years, just not in the warranty business, so you'll be in some pretty good company .
@shortbus, "And if you are REALLY good, we have about 1,000 dollars a week worth of design work over the course of a year on average" Can I just skip to the above! All kidding aside, I'll see what I can come up with.
I don't know many graphic designers that actually make $1,000 a week. That sounds a tiny bit inflated but worth curiosity!
Thanks for the current entries. There are a couple of concepts I like. Will get back with feedback hopefully later this afternoon. CameoAnderson, not inflated at all, in fact it may be on the low end. We have 37 websites and about 110 domains that we are developing one at a time on the side. We do about one every week when I have someone to work with. We've been looking at bringing it in house but it's not my preference at the moment.
Here's some concepts with the above logo integrated. I can always trick them out further with gradients, shadows, etc. Regards, NM.
I would like to give the award to nitroactive media. Hey man, if you can please send me an email to aaron at aaron cooper dot com I would really appreciate it!
