Yes and I think better to go with Nokia's E series phone or try new Nokai N96 which have 25 GB hard Disk. I seen the phone CNBC Awaz's Tech Show.

Also there is no 3G service provider in India, so it is usless phone for India. Only TRAI can help by allowed 3G service in India.

Ya.. even i got the same mess. They are really fooling ppl.. They will first sweep the first crazy market and then bring down the price to meet the second level buyers !!

    16 K is a reasonable price !!

both companies are providing same rates. i registered with both companies to get some better deal but got a same message from both of them. they both are asking 31k for 8 GB iphone and 36k for 16 GB iphone both with 3G compatibility. i heard grey market dealers are importing iPhones in bulk from US and other countries and they plan to sell latest similar 3G phones for 5 - 7k cheaper than these companies.
iphone without 3G is currently selling for 20k in grey markets of delhi. the price will surely come down within next 6 months as a lot of people will cancel their bookings. i have already done that as price is way more than what was publicized earlier. :p i will prefer to wait rather than cut my pockets and increase bank balance of vodaphone or airtel.
