    Just a little thought.

Do you have your logo available in a PSD for members to use for this contest, because if they are just taking the design off of your website the quality of the design is going to be horrible when it is printed, and that goes for everybody really that is entering your contest, and just creating their design on that small image of a t-shirt. Yes, it looks very nice for presentation to you (the client), but if you try to get it printed it will look like crap because most entrants probably are just creating their design with that t-shirt layout in the background.

    For the contest holder...
If you want your logo to be in the design, you should offer a PSD if you have one, if not I would not pick a design with a copy of your logo in it at 72 dpi. You should also make sure that any graphic you accept will be printable.

    To contest entrants...
Make sure your graphic is roughly a square between 5" and 10" and at 300 DPI or so to make sure it can be printed at a very high quality. Also, when transferring the graphic, offer a PSD and PNG file because it will need to be a transparent file on a colored t-shirt.

If you really are looking for your logo in the design, please put up a PSD. If you aren't too strong on having your logo in it, just say so. Either way I may enter if I have time.

lol@ Mike. I guess most of the designers are professionals here and all the points you mentioned would have been taken care of...

wat you see here are just the samples on how it looks on the t shirt, upon completion of the contest the client would receive a 300 dpi psd or a png and not a 200x200 gif.......

Thanks for the concern thou mike.:D

Well, no. The sad part is that not every person that entered would have created the design at a higher resolution. I've been around forums like this one long enough to see people not know much more than to copy/paste an image from google, so I bet you at least some portion of the entries were not created to an appropriate resolution.

I would enter, but I am going to be gone this whole weekend, and won't have time to make an entry by the time I receive a PSD.

Would like to submit a design but have a question.
Dont know if you are doing the printing yourself or have a place that is working with you with low prices, but price is dtermined by number of colors if you going down the screenprinting route, also depends on amount of shirts or hoodies getting made. So basically im asking is number of colors not an issue. Let me know how many colors if you have a limit and from there I will begin a design, I want to make it a cost efficient printable design.

Decided to do something for you justsomething real simple. Let me know what you think. I hope this is the type of feel your going with, not sure if you wanted a grimmy/grungy type of look.

Just noticed the wings are not lined up so just to let it be known that I am aware of this.

Coming from t-shirt experience a lot of these are going to be a bi*** to print. These are the ones that I saw will be considerably easier to print.

^Thats why i decided to do only 2 colors. Most of them are doable but with so many colors they can gt pricey might need someone with a 6-8 color press, but if you do go with DTG printing it is easier but not same quality but not bad quality just not same as screen printing.

Number of colors is not a concern.. it will just wind up costing more to produce the shirts.
