Seriously? he copied mine almost exactly, the colors, the positions, the bold/light font conbinations... it's not fair...
Client has the last word, sometimes it isn't fair. I'd go with the one who first submitted, even if it needs revisions. But! Client always has the last word. Cheers guys, also great designs and designers. Awesome topic.
For me the most important is customer satisfaction. My concept uses black, white and pink colors. (I am free to use) My design is very different, I'm using different fonts, different shapes and unique, the logo needs to be in white to make it look better. (for a design like this is needed) I do my design based on the example that is in the thread. I have not copied any design. Thanks
And the position of everything is just accidentally similar to mine? the vector sun in the bottom was your idea? the idea of combination the fonts weight (exactly as mine), the proportion of the sections are accidentally the same right? ohh please...
Keep the entries coming. Overall feedback is so far good. However we'd still like to see some more 'tea/herbal colour' combinations like the Bootea example (light colours etc). I feel like Pink/Black might not say "Tea" enough.
LOL! Just learn how to loose, dude! Your design is the most simple from these here, so you must expect that every contestant's design might look like yours! And as said @Luka Vidović , the client has the last word, so don't be insolent, just make another try...
I have worked with Sobbi multiple times and he always delivers quality work. As a frequent contest runner on DP what you just said is the point of a "contest". We as customers are looking for designers to draw off of each other to create the best "complete package". Your design was unique to most other entries at the time of submission, but your design was a stone wheel and Sobbi proceeded to add rubber to it for traction. He was just following the contest feedback. I would suggest coming back into the contest with an updated design with some more character instead of trying to win by complaining. In the end if we see a legitimate copy, we usually will PM the first participant and give them a chance at creating a like-model of the copy. However I speak only from my experience. With that said, I would like to say that this design looks the most professional/simple from my standpoint:
Thanks Borduhh, It is always a pleasure working for you. I've worked with you, you are a serious customer. A satisfied customer is the most important to me. Quality work is my commitment. Thank you for your feedback.
