Maybe try to reupload and resubmit sitemap? you said you made no changes? Site without updates isn't very interesting for google.
I see the line going up - maybe you used dirty advertising methods or something?

    Hi,
Since it is going for 5 days only I'd recommend to wait few more days to see if it growing back (It can be a DC Update/Dance within SERPS) or punishment.

    Thanks for your responses.

    Metro:
It have been a week now, how long should I wait?. If there is some kind of penalty applied, how can I find out? I have also checked webmaster tools, cant see any messages there..

    Paidpergoogle:
I dont think I have used any dirty advertisement methods, at least not any I am aware of.. How can I find out? any recommendations?

FYI: I have not bought any links to drive traffic.

The best thing you can do is to keep the website active, market/promote it and do what ever you used to do before.

Check to see if your website was given a penalty, if your site is new, then it would come back up soon.

    Professional Dude:
The site is many years old, and the traffic has been steadily increasing until 17. July then it suddently dropped as mentioned in first post.

I probably did something stupid like linking to another website which I also own( without using rel=nofollow)...these links where completely removed from the website a 2 or 3 days later... I am not sure but this is the only thing I can think of...

The traffic situation is still the same as showed on the graph...getting less than 200 daily users from google... :(

    Traffic earlier:

    Traffic at the moment

Can someone suggest how to proceed? or what to do?

It is really hard to say. You are the only one who should know the answer, from the history of the SEO data of your url.
A very very close look at google webmasters in conjunction with Analytics will provide the answer.

I see a suspicious raise before the drop. Do you know why was the raise? because it could also be the reason for the drop.

I see only 1 link (from Israel, maybe in other countries you would see more).
With 1 google link, even 200 users/days is too much.
Maybe google suspected that you violated some ethic code and as punishment, they erased most of your backlinks.

    This may be one issue:
    link:http://www.saqib.biz

I would concentrate on backlinks for a time and see if that helps/

Regarding the raise of traffic before dropp..

I did submit my website to different directories...I dont remember which directories. And I also never did use any SEO software to do that.... everything was done good old manually way.. but that shouldnt result in a drop inn traffic or what?
