SAN FRANCISCO: Eighty computers have been lost, stolen or gone "missing" at a major US nuclear weapons lab, the nonprofit watchdog group Project On Government Oversight (POGO) said Friday. The group posted online a copy of what they said is an internal letter outlining what appear to be worrisome losses at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the state of New Mexico. The letter said that 13 lab computers were lost or stolen during the past year, three of the machines taken from an employee's home in January. Another 67 computers are deemed "missing." Source
Taliban has stolen more than 87000 USA arms in afganistan and they are selling them openly in Pakistan's Peshwar.
WHY AM i NOT SUPRISED???? Anyone that knows the first thing about hacking is able to see how vulnerable anything is. Also as most hackers are open minded and smarter than the vast majorities of sheeple they see an episode of 'fringe' and it gets them thinking. Others see it as a tv show and therefore have become a slave of the workplace and lost the very thing they set out to discover, their creativity. If you start looking at nukes you will find some very very rare footage, wonder why, of UFO's flying over nukes and disarming them. I hope the populations of the world doesn't think just because Obama is president things won't keep going down hill, they will but very slowly and much will go unheard by the masses and then in 3 and a half years you will see his true colours and that of his administration. I can only hope I'm wrong............
80 computers went missing..and that too from nuke lab?? What kind of security these guys provide to such a sensitive and dangerous segment....Such carelessness...even GOD would wonder..how do I save this mankind!! Regards, RightMan
Well, it says "three of the machines taken from an employee's home in January". I know from the management of office companies and merchant stores that there will always be a remarkable measure of theft from the own employees. And it ain't just the low wages jobbers, one hears of high salary dudes grabbing an "opportunity" as well
