no i am good at designing mascots. that was one of my mascots i drew. but just tell me what you want drawn and i will draw it.
Sigh... I'm really disappointed with the contest. I remember my first few contests here were quite successful and full of talented designers. Thank you sincerely all the participants. Again, I didn't give feedbacks to some designs because I think they couldn't be improved and the designers seemed to have no potential to design my expected logos, although I hope I'm wrong. I can ensure you that I read every of your messages carefully and reviewed every logo thoroughly. Please, some of you, do not design for me if you're not skillful. I do not want to waste your time. @DevilishBoy, please stop designing similar styled logos for me. They look good, but not the ones I expected.
Perhaps if you could give us a better idea of what you like, and what style of font you prefer, then we could get on the right track. I've just gone through all of the posts on here, and aside from all of the ones you didn't like, the only info I can find, is that you like the colours black, grey and grey-blue for the fonts, and for the image you want a woman and excited child pushing a shopping cart laden with goods, but only if nigh-on photo quality, but in vector. Am I close? Perhaps if you could peruse some logo sites, and show us the style of logo you're after, or if you have an image in your mind, let us know, so that we don't waste your time.
Hi Aderain, The purpose of a contest is to find the best logo with the best concept and designing skills for my site. I could't figure out an idea myself and I came here for an idea. It's, in the largest part, you designers' reposibility to offer concepts for me to choose from. What I have seen in the contest is, most participants only want to earn quick money by drawing some "instant-noodle" logos, some use unoriginal images, some lack basic designing skills. You might don't know, I have already paid one participant here in this contest $30 for his efforts and time spent on my contest. Althogh I won't use his logo. You might also don't know, I always check the participants' signature to see if he/she has a portfolio for my reference. I'm willing to pay much more than the prize if one can offer me great designs, but I hate to comment on designs at the kindergarten levels (although I do thank them for the participation). I've to say ‘I like or not" words to some submissions because they basically were not so much good but the designers seem to have the potential to do good jobs. Added: Where do you find I like the colours black, grey and grey-blue for the fonts? I only said one logo's color combination was good, not particular colors. In fact you can choose colors at your will to meet your own concept. Also I will accept various concepts: shopping-related drawings/images, generic unique symbols, and mascots. I particularly pay attention to the integration of the text with logo, that's an important part but unfortunately no one did it well in this contest.
Fair enough. I guess more concepts will be forthcoming, and i'll see if i can design something. How much longer will you be keeping it open?
I'll give this contest another 6 days. If I can't find a winner, I'll split the prize and give them to the two most diligent participants.
Before I take this any further, or add the logo name and slogan, can you please let me know if this concept works for you at all?
Wow, great drawing. It certainly works, but please pay attention to the logo height. In the practical application in my site, the logo height should be, ideally, less than 65px. PS, I had actually checked your signature once, but didn't reach the logo portfolio because it needed a further click which I hadn't realized. Just now I discovered them and found your designs were excellent. I especially like these two logos: AssetWise You've been spotted Due to the limitation of my logo height, you might consider to follow the layout of your above logos.
I think you were right about the size issue, even cut down I think it's a tad too small to see for your header. Let me know if you like the text and font, or if you'd prefer some web 2.0 shine added or anything. Meanwhile i'll try another image.
So seems the woman doesn't fit my site. Yes I do prefer some web 2.0 shine or anything similar added. Thank you.
Perhaps you should have read the my previous post, the logo height limitation doesn't allow a woman standing there. Anyway, the woman looks beautiful, good job. Please try other concepts.
Why do you always show me the similar mascot? You're eagering to sell the one that was made for another contest, right? I've said I'm not interested. Please no more.
Your concept/layout is good. But I generally don't like to have a tag/label/badge in my logo, because such images are too common and don't look nice (If you can draw a spectacular one, that's another case). Perhaps you could replace the tag with a small cute mascot holding a "To Buy" billboard.
