    Hello again designers. Apologies for the delay in getting back to you all.

    There are only 4 days left until you final submissions are evaluated for the prize!

    There are quite a lot of new submissions, some good, some bad, since my last post so let me give individual feedback to each of you on all of them:

    @adwaitk007
    You know this is better than you other attempt. I prefer the cleaner font and icon. However I think it looks frankly a little boring. The icon seems to suggest a 'V' letter and a company that sells tuxedos. Its not too bad you know, but not enough to win based on the other entries so far.

    @Aderain

    This is also better than your previous entry. You have made a good stab at the icon to help communicate what the company sells quickly. In this way your design has followed some of my requirements. Having said that its still quite lackluster and plain. If you were to think of anything associated with tailoring it would probably be the measuring tape, scissors and a suit - I'm looking for something more creative that grabs attention. Please try again.

    @soulslasher6

    Green tie: I prefer this font as its more proud. The green tie seems out of place and 'forced' in at the end as a gesture.

    Red tag: I hope I'm not being too hard on you - just trying to be upfront. Try something more creative, a different concept. Pay close attention to the requirements and comments on other designs that I make for guidance.

    @MantisArt

    Many thanks for your first submission. I noticed your work around on some other threads - some of which were great :) I do like your design - its easy to read and its nice that the font plays on the thread theme. I don't like the icon however - a little boring and bland. Perhaps the font needs to be a bit more professional - combined with something more fashion forward and prestigious (emblem, coat of arms, symbol, etc) would work better here or perhaps the icon isn't needed at all. Play around with the font more and we can see if the concept has any legs.

    hafa

    You know this isn't bad. I like the simplicity of it. Could you make some more variations of it? If the "TO SUIT" part was placed under the "TAILORED" part perhaps its easier to read. I don't think the background texture is required - it takes away from its simplicity. Have another go :)

    @kÖe

    Thanks man/woman. Not really feeling this one I'm afraid. Its quite boring. The font seems to be more suitable to female markets. It needs to look more masculine.

    armanno

    Hello armanno. When I look at your logo I'm reminded of a 1930s tailor shop. It seems very old fashioned - something which I would like to stay away from. I think the actual design is nice, but it doesn't quite fit with what I'm looking for. The font is also plain. Change it and try either all upper case or all lower case.

    @Aderain
    Thanks for this. Actually, this is very like our current logo. Times New Roman, white on black, upper cased. With that I'm holding the contest obviously for other creations as I think we can do better!

    @AmpedHosts

    Thanks for your entry. I like the energy in your design but I don't think its very applicable to a fashion/tailoring business. The 'fast' underline and arrow suggests movement or speed, so to me it looks more suited for a logistics or car racing type business. I need something a more luxury and fashion feel if possible.

    onlyfights

    This is quite good. I like how you have used the tag as the framework for the logo. A few points: try and make the tag look more organic and real as if it has been taken with a camera - you can easily notice that the edges are a set pattern. The font also seems a little too 'IT' better suited for a computer shop - a more elegant font would potentially work better. Is there any need for the line going through the font? I don't think its necessary. Simple is better I think. Good foundation anyway for going forward - good luck.

    @umxca
    Thanks. Looks quite cool. Although simple, the icon is quite ugly. Kind of looks like a bird :) I don't think the caption 'you design it we build it' is required. I stated this originally just to let the designers know the concept of the website but this shouldn't be included in the logo. The font looks a bit too casual and lacks a fashion feel.

    @some1nu
    Good effort. I quite like this one. Simple, font works well, and the icon seems to work well with the font. I will surely bear your design in mind at the end. Do you have any variations of this design that you may provide? Perhaps a slightly stronger, more masculine feel to the font. Also perhaps you could slightly play on one or two of the letters in some way? To make them join, one part cut out or something? Maybe it wont work - just a thought. Good work :)

    @Creations4You
    Hello there. Not too much to say here. I'm not feeling the icon or the font. The icon seems too boring as does the font.

    @corie_michele

    Hello. Thanks for your entry. Although I like the design, something about it doesn't really inspire me. It needs more. Perhaps try the same design or variations on black and white. Refer to comments on other designs and requirements also for guidance.

    @some1nu

    Thank you. I like the concept but a few things come to mind. The dickie bow theme suggests that we are a formal wear company where as we are actually more business suit orientated. The font has its own charm although a little weak.

    @webhostdeals
    I like the icon, but I think we can do better with the font? I can't pinpoint exactly what font to use with this because of the style of the icon you have there - high contrast and powerful stance. Perhaps you made a good judgement with the one you'v provided. You can be a good contender for the prize if you play with it more I think. Also could I see it on a black background? Good work. I look forward to more of your iterations.

    Many thanks for all your entries and best of luck in the coming days

    I will be online more often now so I will be able to give you feedback more quickly.

    Hi there.

    Here's my entry. Nothing so fancy. Please check your PM for the explanation on what the logo conveys. Thanks!

    By the way, the image here shows 4 variations/choices.

    Hey guys and girls.
    Some more feedback:

    @WirelessDesigning

    No thank you.

    @hafa

    "Hi there,

    Thanks for the feedback much appreciated;"

    Looking at it now it seems quite alternative doesn't it? Is there anyway to make it more conservative?

    @fritzielynn

    Thanks for your entry and PM. In future, please post whatever questions and comments your have in the thread so its fair for everyone else. I do like your design but as mentioned in the PM, I think the chalk icon needs to be more defined and easier to spot. The jagged "W" shaped line is also probably not needed. The concept of the chalk is a good one. At this stage however I think there are other designs which would have a better shot at winning.

    @jokomamamita

    Thanks for your entry. Love your design. Font is very clean and modern. Although well done, I think the icon could be better. More specifically, I think it could relate either directly to the concept of the site (creating tailored clothing online) or something completely different (symbol, coat of arms, animal, etc) - just not something in the middle i feel. Could you try something else such as a guy in a suit or an illustration to visualize a suit being "magically created"? - hope that makes sense?

    @umxca

    Great job. Love the second and third versions - very clever. Some points to consider: the man appears to be a bit too formal with his top hat - again suggesting that the company may be catering mainly to the formal wear market. Is it possible to make him more corporate/business like? Doing so however may mean that the concept of the cain is out of place. I love how you have played with the "t" - really does a great job of breaking the logo up so its readable - clever job. Also like your font choice. A minor point - does it look like the man is leaning on a grave stone? Perhaps the hook of the t could be the hook of a cain? This may look too old fashioned however and seem like an old-timer :) I understand that this is a draft design - is it possible to make the illustration more crisp? Seems quite un-polished.

    Also could we see your next version inverted - black bg on white foreground ?

    The scissors on the third version look like you are inviting the viewer to cut out the logo in some way. The font choice here looks a bit old fashioned. Second logo has the most potential.

    Good luck.

    @redhouseforums

    Thanks for your submissions and several versions.
    Few things come to find: dickie bow & waistcoat should be avoided as we want a more corporate/business like feel. I don't like the font and use of .com and TTS - the combination of all of these things makes for a distracting experience. My eye is drawn to the waistcoat lines where as I should be focusing on the name instead.

    @Sunnykdr

    Without being too critical I think you creation is far too busy. It seems to be a mash of many different things: a Tshirt for the T that looks like a Raiders jersey, highlight the word "RED" with red colouring - why draw our attention to this? "TO SUIT" seems like its spray painted or disenterating which is I feel more applicable for a more casual design. Hope these points help.

    @Whipsnade
    Thanks for trying again. I think this is a better attempt but is too close to our current logo style. I think the icon isn't too great - hard to make out the silhouette figure that you tried to go for. Refer to comments for further guidance.
