$80 for a new domain. Is it worthed?

    Hi guys,

I'm not talking about the aged or pagerank domain, but a grand new domain.

For example, since all the extensions were taken, only loan.vc is left and it cost $80 to register. Is it worth to take that domain or just get a normal available domain name for $9.95?

    What do you think?

    Thank you,

For this domain,I think it's worthy if you really require it.It's pretty good.

It's worth it if you plan to develop the name and expect to make more than $80 in revenues. I think it's expensive to hold as an "investment" unless you put relevant content & ads on it in the meantime.

Tough call... because .vc is a pretty obscure TLD.. and personally when I see something like that I decide it's probably not even worth clicking on (ie some spam or adsense-filled site).

I think its worth for $ 80 if you manage that domain, and can make some profit from it. You can sell it for more profit mate

From name of that domain, i think it's normal. We must see keyword of that domain, "Loan", it's only 4 letter :)

if u have good development wrt loan niche and don't care for tld then reg otherwise it may not worth because lot of .vc keywords are still available also make sure to go thru the rules of such cctlds because cctlds rules are formed by local gov and can be risky some times

If you can sell again in domain auction or develop in other ways i think loan.vc is best but if you want small investment in regular TLD domain.. regular domain like using .com or .org are better..

.vc is the TLD for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines... Not exactly where I would be looking for loans.

If you spend some time on research, you can find .com alternatives quite easily.

    ConsultLoan.com is available today.
